The story of this collaboration between two of the greatest voices of all time happened when Chuck Jackson brought a demo tape of the tender ballad "If I Let Myself Go" to producer Charles Wallert. Wallert loved the track, and suggested that it would make a fantastic duet. But who could match the passion and power of Chuck's voice?

Chuck immediately thought of Dionne Warwick, who was a labelmate of his during their Scepter records days. "Big sister" Dionne and "Big brother" Chuck, as the two affectionately call each other, have remained close over the years.

So, one morning at about 6 a.m. California time, Chuck, not being able to wait any longer, phoned his "Big sister" Dionne, and provided one of the best wake up calls ever by singing the romantic song to her. Dionne loved the song and the idea for the duet.

Wallert re-arranged the song for the pair and brought them together in the studio. With the passion and experience of these two acclaimed performers, the song became a reflection of joy, serenity and love.

"If I Let Myself Go" is currently available as a single from the forthcoming album "I'll Never get Over You" on the wave entertainment label.
